LOT Polish Airlines adds Malta to its global network with direct flights from Warsaw, offering seamless travel to the Mediterranean starting April 2025.
The Mediterranean archipelago of Malta, though one of the world’s smallest nations, has emerged as a popular travel hotspot, attracting over three million visitors annually. Starting April 16, 2025, LOT Polish Airlines, a member of the Star Alliance, will connect travelers from India to Malta through its expanding global route network. The flights will operate four times a week between Warsaw’s Chopin Airport, the airline’s main hub, and Malta International Airport, utilizing Boeing 737 aircraft. Passengers can choose between LOT Economy Class and LOT Business Class for their journey.
To provide greater convenience, LOT Polish Airlines offers varied departure schedules. Flights from Warsaw will depart on Sundays and Wednesdays at 8:20 AM, and on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 2:05 PM, with a flight duration of approximately three hours.
Here’s the detailed schedule for the new Malta route:
- Sundays and Wednesdays: Flight LO 671 leaves Warsaw at 8:20 AM, arriving in Malta at 11:20 AM. The return flight, LO 672, departs Malta at 12:10 PM and lands in Warsaw at 3:05 PM.
- Tuesdays and Saturdays: Flight LO 673 takes off from Warsaw at 2:05 PM and lands in Malta at 5:05 PM. The return flight, LO 674, takes off from Malta at 5:55 PM and arrives in Warsaw at 8:50 PM.
These new flights enhance connectivity and provide travelers with more options to explore the vibrant and historic destination of Malta.
