Naxxar Lions announced the signing of Francis Jno-Baptiste, a 25-year-old English forward.
He joins at the back of a spell in the United States at Forward Madison FC, in the USL League One.
Baptiste spent the 2022 campaign with English seventh-tier Isthmian League Premier Division side Brightlingsea Regent FC.
His youth career began at the Crystal Palace Academy. The forward spent six seasons between 2012 and 2019 playing with Crystal Palace, where he made one appearance in the U-18 Premier League.
His professional career kicked off in 2019 when Jno-Baptiste signed with Östersunds FK in Sweden’s top-flight Allsvenskan. From 2019-2022, Jno-Baptiste made 39 appearances with Östersund and tallied six goals and two assists over that period.
In 2020, Jno-Baptiste was loaned to AFC Eskilstuna, where he played in nine matches and contributed three goals and an assist with the second-division Swedish Superttan side.
Naxxar, sitting fourth in the Bottom 6 with 11 points, take on Żabbar St Patrick this weekend.
