Malta International Airport has full-scale emergency exercise scheduled to take place on tomorrow Tuesday 19th November, starting from 7pm onwards.
The exercise is designed to simulate a real-life emergency scenario and will involve national stakeholders and various entities working together to test their preparedness and response capabilities.
The exercise, which is in line with international and European regulations, will assess the readiness of all involved entities to handle a crisis, as well as test communication systems and emergency resources.
For passengers traveling on the day, Malta International Airport has assured that this exercise will not affect their journey.
However, the public is advised that unusual activity, such as the presence of emergency vehicles around the airport perimeter, is part of the exercise and should not cause alarm.
