Melia Hotels International marked the grand opening of the ME Malta on Nov. 1.
Designed by architect Zaha Hadid as part of the Mercury Towers development, the five-star property is located in the seaside town of St. Julian’s on the island’s northeastern coastline, and a few miles west of the capital city of Valletta.

Set across 20 floors, the 113 rooms, 27 suites and 35 residences offer a contemporary decor; social and event spaces that include three Thinking Labs, a Plenary Room and two Breakout Rooms; and a Culture Collective program showcasing local artists and musical performances.
The rooftop offers views of the coastline, modern Mediterranean fare and a pool framed with cabanas and loungers.
