Floriana FC winger Thiaguinho has left Opening Round winners Floriana FC to continue his career in South Korea with Bucheon FC, the Times of Malta can confirm.
The 24-year-old winger arrived at Floriana at the start of the season and has been one of the shining lights for the Greens in their impressive run towards topping the 360 Sports Malta Premier.
Since the start of the season, Thiaguinho has made 17 appearances for Floriana, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
However, when Thiaguinho received an offer from South Korea club Bucheon, the player informed Floriana on his desire to pursue his career in Asia and he reached an agreement with the Greens to be granted his release and continue the season with Bucheon FC.
The Brazilian is the third player to leave Floriana FC this month after the Greens parted ways with midfielder Fernandinho and goalkeeper Saul Garcia who both were released by the club.
Floriana have already worked on bringing in valid replacements and are expected to announced five new signings during the January transfer window.
One of the new faces is forward Gabriel Sotomayor who will be joining the club from Bolivian side The Strongest.
